Most everyone these days knows Confabulators is made up from the decemberist message board best of. So yes, we made rad shirts for our own awesomeness. The surplus will be handed on to you at a zero profit price. This is just how we roll, sort of like the 1 ad we cut even with. Well the shirts are $11 shipped anywhere in the lower 48+canada and $13+intl shipping to elsewhere. These shirts are rad, I can vouche. pictures and ordering info follow. Random notes: Yes, the original sketch had them more off-center and possibly wrapping around the side. This would be extremely difficult to do on a conventional screenprinting jig, I’m told, and the seams would create a bump and the ink would end up places it wasn’t supposed to be. So, we did our best. Never fear! It’ll definitely look very cool to have an octo-monica on your belly! As you can see from the gorgeous model above (me), the tentacles do sorta wind their way around, when the glorious shirt is worn. The shirts on display are both S, the shirt I’m wearing is XL (tres grande!) The shirts are Gildan for the boys and the girls are by Desert Wash. Both are 100% cotton, of the preshrunk variety. My printer guys tell me these are the brands they use most frequently. Basically, they’re good, solid cotton shirts. No, I am not making any money on these. I just want to cover expenses. Yes, it is a very good deal. Buy one as a little treat to yourself! Get one to sleep in, and have pleasant /orate dreams! Wear it to shows and introduce yourself to fellow boardies! My brother’s gilfriend works a co-op and generally is a jerk off all day. So she made this kind of nice flash animation for the world to enjoy instead. Made with flash 8, kinf od funny people, kind of lazy animations. Still totally awesome.

Oh No! Oh My! informal-

For those of you yet to really get the Oh No! Oh My! wave; this means pretty much all of you; might want to get some before it’s all gone. They are a happy poppy band from Austin/Nashville. Oh No! Oh My!’s self titled debut album is pretty much spectacular. It mixes the best of the acoustic post folk pop goodness with indie techno pop. The lyrics are witty but not too much to turn off anyone; more so an even balance of intllegence.

history and crap from the myspace From the minds of songwriters Greg Barkley and Daniel Hoxmeier comes a catchy post-pop band that loves themselves a tasty melody. Both Greg and Daniel were home schooled through high school and, for lack of anything better to do, learned to play the guitar and any other useful instruments they could get their collective hands on.

Teaming up with Joel Calvin (drums), they formed the band (poor) yorik, an experimental rock band, which after 8 months they decided was a much too depressing style of music. The trio spent a month in deep meditation and self reflection (during which Joel found inner peace), and it was decided that they would from then on be called The Jolly Rogers. However, upon discovery of several pop-punk bands from Nebraska and Florida, and a group that frequents renaissance festivals dressed in pirate garb, the band decided it was time for another name change. They chose Oh No! Oh My!, named for a song by The Robot Ate Me.

In July of 2005, the band began work on a brand new collection of songs after a demo from the year prior was met with a strong response over the internet. Greg and Daniel moved in January 2006 from their Hometown in Austin, TX, to their temporary home in Nashville, TN, to go to an Audio Engineering school for 9 months. Joel soon followed in April, and now the band are set to to release their first full length album on May 2nd.

It’s the truth folks. I present to you Cat Power’s video for living proof, in both iPod and obnoxiously huge sizes. I would also like to offer The Postal Service “Such Great Heights” because I was looking for it and could not find it, so I found it in high def and decided everyone of you should find it now too. I also have The Faint “Agenda Suicide” in cool video, it is probably the best of the three cinematically. There are two (count them 2) links for each video, one is ridiculous high def and the other, is ipod, I trust you can tell them apart.

So I was looking at the bandwidth usage on the stats page and how WEEK you guys have been lately. Total slackers. So I decided to upload a good amount of music videos to please the urge to have visuals with your audio.
